Chopard Mille Miglia Gran Turismo XL 168997-3001

With its refined lines, 44 mm diameter and oversized white 12 and 6 numerals on a black dial, the Mille Miglia Gran Turismo XL watch in stainless steel is unmistakably charismatic and with a style evoking the design of racing cars. The fake watches has an automatic mechanical movement with a 46-hour power reserve, visible through the caseback. Chopard’s signature tire-tread style strap with Chopard engraved pin buckle is the icing on the cake of this killer-looking watch.

Panerai Ferrari Granturismo Chronograph Limited Edition FER00011

Panerai was not the first nor the most recent of several Swiss watchmakers who fell for the allure of Ferrari and made a series of Ferrari-inspired watches. And while these pieces are sometimes scoffed at by Panerai purists or other watch enthusiasts, I’ve always admired the Panerai for Ferrari pieces. This particular model the FER011 has a is one of only 700 pieces made and is distinguished by its yellow dial with black sub-dial registers, and the Ferrari “prancing horse” in place at 12 o’clock and also engraved on the caseback. Comes in a special “Ferrari red” Panerai box.

IWC Ingenieur AMG IW3225-04

This watch is one of two models in IWC’s Ingenieur Automatic Ceramic “AMG Black Series” inspired by an AMG Mercedes. The case the bezel, the case-back ring, and crown are all made of black zirconium oxide inspired by the high-performance ceramic disc brakes found in premium AMG vehicles. The screws in the bezel firmly secure the front glass, case and sapphire-glass back and are an unmistakable reference to the technical design cues of Gérald Genta’s legendary Ingenieur SL. The watch fake is equipped with the in-house 80110 calibre (launched in 2005), which has a blackened rotor and an integrated shock-absorption system and is one of the most rugged movements made by IWC (also found in IWC Refs 3231, 3233 and 5461).

Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow 321.13.44.50.02.001

The Speedmaster Broad Arrow is no longer part of Omega fake watches’s collection, which is all the more reason that I like it. The dial has some great qualities – vertical straight-graining/Geneva stripes underlay applied Arabic numerals, a date window, and 3-sub-dials with honeycomb pattern (two chronograph registers + one small second register). The red-tipped timing hands, broad-arrow hour hand, and tachy scale on the bezel complete the look. Powered by Omega’s co-axial Caliber 3313, the automatic mechanical caliber is visible through the caseback, too.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Amvox2 Chronograph Limited Edition 192T450

A portmanteau of Aston Martin (“AM”) and Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Memovox (“VOX”), the Amvox models from JLC started coming out in 2005. The models quickly evolved beyond being an alarm replica watch to novel chronograph models which were operated without traditional pushers. And more recently some of the Amvox models are transponders where one can actually activate the alarm and central locking system of an Aston Martin.

On this watch the chronograph is indeed operated by pressing the sapphire glass: Start and Stop at 12 o’clock, 6 o’clock to reset. There is a locking mechanism on the left-hand side of the watch to prevent accidental use, if so desired. Aston Martin branding is respectably light — the logo is engraved on the caseback. Inside is the automatic mechanical manufacture chronograph movement JLC 751B.
